Give Students a Voice: Vote in the Children’s Choice Book Awards

Voting is open for the ninth annual Children’s Choice Book Awards, the only national book awards program where the winning titles are selected by children and teens of all ages! Now through April 25, young readers across the country can determine the winners by voting online at ccbookawards.com. Last year over 1.3 million votes were cast! Winners will be announced during the 97th Children’s Book Week (May 2-8), the annual celebration of books for young people and the joy of reading.

This year’s finalists fall into 7 categories, spanning a diverse range of voices, genres, and formats:

  • Kindergarten to Second Grade Book of the Year
  • Third to Fourth Grade Book of the Year
  • Fifth to Sixth Grade Book of the Year
  • Teen Book of the Year
  • Children’s Choice Debut Author
  • Teen Choice Debut Author
  • Children’s Choice Illustrator
